The Most Magical Place on Earth

Soo, I thought I was pretty dang cool when my grandparents took us to Disneyland earlier this year. But then… on Wednesday August 3rd, the Waller’s decided that on Friday August 5th, we were going to DisneyWORLD!! Seriously, Disneyland & Disneyworld in the same year?? Who does that? Apparently I do. I am one lucky duck!! We had so much fun!!! You got to understand that when you’re living with the Waller’s you don’t live life like the average person. Nope. We got the VIP tour!! Like the one celebrities go on when they go to Disneyworld! It was CrAzy!! We got picked up from our resort, we got to go in through the back ways, have our day planned for us, go to the front of most of the lines, front row seats to shows, meals with the characters and some little known Disneyworld facts. Here are some facts of our trip:

Hotel: Disney’s Polynesian Resort. It was like Hawaii & Disneyworld in one. What more could I ask for ?

Favorite Part: Lion King Show & the Electrical parade. The kids & Jayson even got to participate in the Lion king show, cool huh?

Favorite Ride: Soarin over California. Why don’t they make a Soarin over Florida?

Observation: The Waller’s spend more money on souvenirs than anyone I have ever met. Seriously.

What not to do: Let Jayson eat the hot dogs. We all paid for that later that night.

What to do: Take the ferry. Its a free & a super peaceful way to get back to your hotel.

Weather: Rain. Unfortunately it rained a ton while we were there. I bet they sold more ponchos than anything else that whole week.

Next time I go: I want to spend more time in Epoct. Not the most kid friendly of all the parks, needless to say, we didn’t spend a lot of time there.

Note to self: There is probably more I would have loved to blogged about, but I waited too long & now I can’t remember. BLOG SOONER!!

Alright, off of facts and on to pictures!

I want to give a shout out to the Waller's for a giant THANK YOU!! I had a wonderful trip! You guys are the best!!!

Next trip: The BAHAMAS!!!

My Room: Take two

Is it just me or is this a little déjà vu ish? Anyway, Here is a “tour” of my new room.

Although it is a downsize, there is a lot I like better about this one. I don’t have much time to spend in here anyways so it doesn’t need to be big :) I love having my bathroom attached to my room. At the old house there was a surveillance camera between my room and bathroom, so I couldn’t walk from bathroom to bedroom in a bra, which was just a big bummer :/ Now I’m free to do as I please ;) It’s the little things in life right? Also, I have a brand spankin new 42” TV in my room! In the last house there was a HUGE TV in the basement that I used, but now I can just lay in bed & lounge & watch TV. Actually, I have yet to do that:) I’d just rather be on my computer than watch TV on my days off! The view from my new room is amazing! Its dark out or I would take a picture. & I have a walk in closet, which is awesome. And last but not least, I don’t feel like such a loner when I’m in it as I did in the big ol’ basement.

New House

Well, I am finally getting around to doing the other posts that were meant to be done a few weeks ago... Oh well, better late than never right??

Goodbye 9742 Capella Ave & Hello to 110 Bayberry Creek Circle. Goodbye Concord & Hello to Mooresville. Goodbye to Moss Creek Neighborhood & Hello to The Farms Neighborhood!

All I have to say is I LOVE THE FARMS!!! Okay, I actually have alot more to say, but that about sums it up. It is the most beautiful neighborhood I have ever seen! Beautiful houses, beautiful trees, beautiful lake, wonderful people, the list goes on. The Farms is basically one huge neighborhood located by Lake Norman. All the houses are big && beautiful, surrounded by tons of trees. It feels like I live in the mountains and am camping all the time. There are tons of cute deer running around. A few times I seen a baby deer right outside the kitchen window :) The Wallers bought 2 golf cars that we have been driving around exploring the neighborhood with & it is dangerous territory, I might never want to leave! There is a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts & playgrounds we drive around & we also like to drive down to the lake in the evening and see the beautiful sunset. More about the golf cars to come later. I'll try to keep my focus today on the actual house, which was beautiful to begin with, but Liz has done a ton to make it into her own and add to the beauty. Here are a few pics

Here is the outside.

Kitchen, Dining & Family Room

Pictures don't really do it justice, but it's beautiful!! I tried using this panoramic app on my iphone for the rooms, but it didn't turn out like I was hoping and I really don't feel like taking more. Maybe later.

My room is up stairs with the Girls rooms & A big loft area. Christian's & the master are down stairs. There is no basement in this house, & I'll be honest, I kinda miss my ol' room in the dungeon basement :( But there are lots of things I like about my new room more that I'll talk about in my next post.. Stay posted. (No pun intended :)

Home @ Last!!-- Prepare for a Novel

There truly is no place like home!! Even if it took staying up alllll night to get there. & no I didn't even allow myself to sleep on the airplane cuz me and sitting up sleeping = drool. Not cool.

I had a connecting flight in Dallas, Texas where I bought my dad some Dallas Cowboy's apparel. I guess it was the thought that counted, but in my overly tired stupor, I accidently got a 3XL :)Just a bit to big. Oh geez! What a waste. Sorry Pops!

On the other hand It was a great feeling to be able to talk to my parents & actually say "I'll see you in a few hours!!!" It's crazy how much I took seeing them regularly for granted. When the captain said we are beginning our initial decent into SLC, I was exhilarated, I couldn't stop smiling! I raced off the plane as soon as it landed! Seeing my family standing there with their cute & cheezy signs was one of the best sights I have ever seen. I had to literally make myself move from one person to the next, I just wanted to hug them each forever!!! I could go on endlessly on how great it was to see them, but I'll sum it up saying it was awesome!!

I had told them in advance, that as soon as I got home I wanted Cafe rio, so after we left the airport, we headed straight there. I was so sad when they were closed beacuse it was Sunday :( So I settled for Mimi's cafe. I had a great time catching up with everyone, but the weird thing was, I felt like I fit right in, almost like I had never left at all :) It was a good feeling :D After eating, we went home. The minute I walked in I just felt just soo... well, at home :) We just hung out for a while and talked & my dad made me his famous homemade ice cream, complete with fresh picked raspberries :) Then we went over to my grandma's house where I got to see most of my extended family! I missed em! They are the best! After that I went & seen Ty & Stef's new house!! SOO cute, congrats guys! && After all this excitement, I finally got to sleeep!! It was a greeeaaat day!

The next day, I got up bright n' early for my dentist appt :( Not the funnest but I figured I would get that out of the way and move on the bigger, better & funner things like taking my cute nieces to build a bear!! We had never been there before & we had a ball! Aydri made a cute bear with peace signs on it & picked out a ferocious roar for it :) We all thought that was pretty funny! Briar & Stef built a cute little horse complete with sparkly shoes and a personalized message from her {favorite} aunt... aka me :D

Briar figuring out how to stuff her bear with a little help from PaPa Brent :)

After Build-A-Bear, I finally got my Cafe Rio!! It was fantastico!!! Then we went to our block party & I was able to see some of my cool neighbors & meet some new ones :) After that me & my good friend Nicole went to frosted rock for some major catching up & ending up having to much to talk about so we had to meet up at my house for some more chatting :) ♥ her!! To top off that night, I got to sleep over with the cutest little 3 year old ever: Aydri Shay Rose :) Always a good time with her!

The next day we got all packed up & headed out to our cabin at Bear Lake with the whole fam-dam :) Definitley one of my favorite annual trips. There is always something fun going on there.. This year we did a giant slip n' slide with a big tarp, made homemade root beer, had our yearly "fish pond" off the deck, made GIANT bubbles, played frisbee golf, volleyball, rummy, made everyone fat, bald and old with iphone apps, laughed, boating & of course a lot of swimming & getting our tan on. Here are a few pics of all the fun...

Daddy-O & Briar-O ♥

As always, the fun went by way to fast & it was soon time to pack up & go. I got to spend one more night at my house but the next morning it was off to the airport for me. Lane, Krista, Aydri & my mommy dear came to see me off. We said our goodbye's {again} & I begin to make my way through security. They all went up to the top to watch me go through the line & I waved at them the whole line. I probably looked like a nerd, but I really didn't care, my family is more important :) & once again, I'll say how blessed I am to have such a supportive and awesome family!

I made it home safely to my second awesome family, The Wallers & I was sincerly happy to see them! They are great!

The first day back, I had a weird little ball of saddness in my belly from misssing my family, but it soon left as I realized how fast the first 3 months went by and how fast the next 3 will come to see them again :) In the meantime, I am having a blast here in North Carolina & I will see ya'll in Utah soon ♥

Major Catch Up!!

Do you ever get that feeling that you have so much to do, you don't want to do anything?? That is how I have been with this blog!! Ha ha, I have so much catching up to do, I am overwhelmed.. There is my trip home, moving into a new house & Disney World!! Its been a crazy couple of weeks! Oh well, I guess we'll start with one at a time.... Here we go>>>
