There truly is no place like home!! Even if it took staying up alllll night to get there. & no I didn't even allow myself to sleep on the airplane cuz me and sitting up sleeping = drool. Not cool.
I had a connecting flight in Dallas, Texas where I bought my dad some Dallas Cowboy's apparel. I guess it was the thought that counted, but in my overly tired stupor, I accidently got a 3XL :)Just a bit to big. Oh geez! What a waste. Sorry Pops!
On the other hand It was a great feeling to be able to talk to my parents & actually say "I'll see you in a few hours!!!" It's crazy how much I took seeing them regularly for granted. When the captain said we are beginning our initial decent into SLC, I was exhilarated, I couldn't stop smiling! I raced off the plane as soon as it landed! Seeing my family standing there with their cute & cheezy signs was one of the best sights I have ever seen. I had to literally make myself move from one person to the next, I just wanted to hug them each forever!!! I could go on endlessly on how great it was to see them, but I'll sum it up saying it was awesome!!
I had told them in advance, that as soon as I got home I wanted Cafe rio, so after we left the airport, we headed straight there. I was so sad when they were closed beacuse it was Sunday :( So I settled for Mimi's cafe. I had a great time catching up with everyone, but the weird thing was, I felt like I fit right in, almost like I had never left at all :) It was a good feeling :D After eating, we went home. The minute I walked in I just felt just soo... well, at home :) We just hung out for a while and talked & my dad made me his famous homemade ice cream, complete with fresh picked raspberries :) Then we went over to my grandma's house where I got to see most of my extended family! I missed em! They are the best! After that I went & seen Ty & Stef's new house!! SOO cute, congrats guys! && After all this excitement, I finally got to sleeep!! It was a greeeaaat day!
The next day, I got up bright n' early for my dentist appt :( Not the funnest but I figured I would get that out of the way and move on the bigger, better & funner things like taking my cute nieces to build a bear!! We had never been there before & we had a ball! Aydri made a cute bear with peace signs on it & picked out a ferocious roar for it :) We all thought that was pretty funny! Briar & Stef built a cute little horse complete with sparkly shoes and a personalized message from her {favorite} aunt... aka me :D

Briar figuring out how to stuff her bear with a little help from PaPa Brent :)
After Build-A-Bear, I finally got my Cafe Rio!! It was fantastico!!! Then we went to our block party & I was able to see some of my cool neighbors & meet some new ones :) After that me & my good friend Nicole went to frosted rock for some major catching up & ending up having to much to talk about so we had to meet up at my house for some more chatting :) ♥ her!! To top off that night, I got to sleep over with the cutest little 3 year old ever: Aydri Shay Rose :) Always a good time with her!
The next day we got all packed up & headed out to our cabin at Bear Lake with the whole fam-dam :) Definitley one of my favorite annual trips. There is always something fun going on there.. This year we did a giant slip n' slide with a big tarp, made homemade root beer, had our yearly "fish pond" off the deck, made GIANT bubbles, played frisbee golf, volleyball, rummy, made everyone fat, bald and old with iphone apps, laughed, boating & of course a lot of swimming & getting our tan on. Here are a few pics of all the fun...

As always, the fun went by way to fast & it was soon time to pack up & go. I got to spend one more night at my house but the next morning it was off to the airport for me. Lane, Krista, Aydri & my mommy dear came to see me off. We said our goodbye's {again} & I begin to make my way through security. They all went up to the top to watch me go through the line & I waved at them the whole line. I probably looked like a nerd, but I really didn't care, my family is more important :) & once again, I'll say how blessed I am to have such a supportive and awesome family!
I made it home safely to my second awesome family, The Wallers & I was sincerly happy to see them! They are great!
The first day back, I had a weird little ball of saddness in my belly from misssing my family, but it soon left as I realized how fast the first 3 months went by and how fast the next 3 will come to see them again :) In the meantime, I am having a blast here in North Carolina & I will see ya'll in Utah soon ♥
