I'm Comin' Home!

Well it's 4:54 am here in the beautiful North Carolina. What am I doing awake??? I am packing! But not only packing for my Utah trip, but also packing EVERYTHING in my room for the move. Apparently I have bad timinng on picking vacation time :) It just so happens that the Waller's are moving in the middle of me being on vacation. So long story short all my stuff has to be in boxes before I leave in a few hours. It's a pain in the butt! I would have done it earlier, but I have spent most nights helping poor Liz pack so she is not so stressed while I am gone{& Oh did that pay off [see below :D]}. Anyway, that is why I am up at {now} 4:58. I am offically pulling an all-nighter to get everything done. Will I regret this later?? Probably. Will I look like a zombie getting off the plane ?? Probably. Is it all going to be worth it to see my wonderful family??? Absolutley!

My feet and back are killing me so I decided to take a little break & update my blog before I go home, because I am sure I will be having to much fun to post :) I'll start with a few of our activities this week...

First up... Balloon Painting!!

Take a few balloons and some paint &

It ends up looking something like this:

Londyie and Kenz were in a little arguments and needed something to distract them, so what did I do?? I busted out the toothpicks and marshmallows!

We also made tissue paper butterflies, all in the same day! Yes, it must have been a good day :) They turned out cute

The rest of the days consisted of alot of packing. Its not the funnest thing to do, but in the end it definatley paid off!! Liz went through her closet and gave me 8 pairs of her "hand-me-down" barely worn, designer jeans, I was so excited I took a pic of a few of my fav's

& then, even after giving me all those, they came home with this beauty...

Yip. That is my very own BEAutiful Fossil watch!! Thanks Liz & Jay!! You guys are the best! I am so lucky to have found them! I have the best job ever!

I also got to throw in a picture of the little man. He is wearing a headband, he loves em'!

I don't have a picture of Hannah, she is usually doing other 12 year old things :) I am going to miss these guys but here is a sneak peak of what I have to look forward to :D

I can't wait to see them! I'll be back in a week to post more pictures of our time together/

Homemade Gummies!!

One of my favorite things to do with kids is make homemade gummies!! There fun, pretty easy and yummy! There are a few things you need to invest in at first, but they can be used over and over! They are... Candy molds(I accidently left mine in Utah, so i ordered a pack from Wilton off Amazon for about $10 with 10 fun molds in it.) & Enough "condiment" containers for each kid. They are like a buck each at Walmart. Once you have those things, your good to go for a long time.

Snapshots of the week

Well, because of this and that, we were only able to do one activity from the ice cream chart this week :( Which isn't enough to blog about so I decided to put on a few pictures taken throughout the week! Starting with.....

this is what happens when you have 7 people to feed and you send Jayson and Hannah to the grocery store. This lasted about a week :)

Since the kids are, well kids, they are picky eaters. So I haven't had the chance to use my kitchen ablilities as much as I would like. For example, the other night's dinner was hot dogs and mac n' cheese. So I decided to spice things up a little and make spagetti dogs with the left over hot dogs. All I did was cut the hot dogs into thirds, and put 7-8 whole spagetti noodles through them :) This is what they looked like initally...

and this is what they looked like cooked. Gross huh? Well while I was cooking these, the girls were outside, so when they came in for dinner, I tricked them and told them that these were all we were having. I got some pretty disgusted looks :) But after I told them what was really for dinner, they thought they were pretty cool.

Here is a picture of miss Kenzie lou looking as beautiful as ever!

Here is Londyn & I with our pigtails :) & yes, I was still in my PJ's

The little man & I being silly

Well that's it for now. Happy Independence day!!! Thanks to all those who have served and still serve our beautiful country!! God bless the USA
